As with our campuses across the Laurier community, student well-being will be a priority at Laurier’s Milton campus. We will provide flexible, inclusive opportunities for learning, socializing, fitness, creativity and activity, while also fostering a strong connection to the natural environment and the lively community of Milton.

A vibrant postsecondary experience should be available to all students, no matter their background. Scholarships help make university more accessible, while boosting student confidence in self and ability. Donor-supported entrance scholarships will draw top local talent, attracting students from Milton and the GTA who are seeking a strong academic and student engagement experience close to home.
Your support of named entrance scholarships will provide top students starting on the Milton campus in Fall of 2024 with a $5,000 entrance scholarship (distributed over four years at $1,250 per year) and help ensure Laurier’s programming is as inclusive and accessible as possible to attract the best and brightest.
Donor-supported awards give students like me the motivation and drive to create a positive difference in our community and develop many abilities of leadership and inspiration.
The award I received demonstrates a committed investment in my success as a student and has the power to change my life in the future as I graduate and pursue my dreams in law school.

Support talented students’ learning and mentorship through named chairs and professorships.
Attract the best in faculty talent, creating a vibrant and high-quality learning experience for students. Your investment in these positions will also guarantee top-level research, providing research assistantship opportunities for students and increasing the university's meaningful contribution in the field. Moreover, chairs and professorships facilitate strong networks between students, faculty and other academic and industry partners.
Laurier is known for our great student experience and our Milton campus will be no different. Your support will help Laurier offer high-quality programming and resources that contribute positively to the university experience and to our students’ mental health.
Your investment will support programs for students on the Milton campus provided through our Student Affairs Office that enhance personal, intellectual and experiential development; these will include student academic competitions, career development resources, student
life programming, leadership skills development, and wellness and recreation opportunities.
Your investment in Laurier Milton will also support our Student Emergency Fund. This fund provides a one-time support to students facing unforeseen financial crises. The fund plays a vital role in supporting students' physical and mental health and well-being, ultimately contributing to their academic success.
The Learning Commons, located in the student-focused education hub in the Laurier Milton Academic Centre and eventually in Laurier’s new Milton One building, will be an integrated space that provides students with an area to study, relax and connect.
The space will offer comfortable seating, charging stations and work areas to encourage collaboration and learning. It will also be configured to suit a range of pedagogical approaches that let users adapt the space to their changing needs.
