Marketing has transformed from just a few years ago. How do we stay on top of it?
The Marketing area at Laurier has become one of the largest and most successful among Canada’s universities for researching, among other things, the significant social and economic impacts of daily, seemingly ordinary moments of our digital lives. Courses in Marketing and Social Networks, Creative Thinking for Marketing Managers and High-Tech Marketing and Retailing are taught by world-class faculty and complemented by opportunities such as a November 2017 expert panel on next generation brand communications.
The Laurier Chair in Brand Communication, generously supported by the Marketing Communications Education Trust (MCET), is a driving force behind the creativity and real-world engagement of the marketing program. Sarah J.S. Wilner, who currently holds the chair, has brought her extensive marketing and leadership experience to develop innovative curricula and educational experiences at the Lazaridis School, including her championing of the November 2017 panel on brands in partnership with Interbrand Canada.
“Laurier’s marketing students have an incredible learning environment, a tremendous spirit of competition and a network of supportive friends and alumni. As graduates, they will be at the forefront of the digital consumer world, skilled and ready to meet the challenges of the future.”
